Recent Projects

The Circle of Friends is an organization of 50 hard working, fun loving women committed to performing a broad range of community service projects in the Richmond area. The purpose is to do group, weekday projects that help non-profit community organizations while allowing members to learn about the organization and the people it serves.

We do a broad range of projects from mailings, set up and staffing for events, light gardening, organizing and preparing of materials for events and simple painting just to name a few.  We will not do fundraising or provide funds for organizations but will help with fundraising projects.  We rely on the organization to organize the project and have us to execute it.  It is advisable that dates not be changed once our members have signed up for the project.  Some of the many organizations helped are Visual Arts Center, Virginia Home, Prevent Child Abuse Virginia, Central Virginia Foodbank, Meals on Wheels, YMCA, Comfort Zone Camp, Arthritis Foundation and Maymont.

I ask you to take some time and think creatively about how we can be of service to your organization and submit a proposal to us.
